I felt that the power of one was a very sad movie. It makes me want to beat up some of the people that hurt P.K. I felt that the English were being horrible to the British. I thought that when P.K.s girlfriend died that was hard to see. P.K.s happiness was always ruined by someone dying and that killed me. My favorite part was when they sang the song in the jail. PK is very brave and that is why it’s my favorite movie in global Ed."

Some family traditions I have for Christmas is that we go to my grandmas after church on Christmas Eve. My dad’s whole family is there so there are many cousins to play with. We usually have some Polish food to eat since my Dads side of the family is Polish. We had lasagna this year and salads and chicken.

After dinner Santa who is usually a neighbor or a friend of the family comes and gives us kid’s gifts. We all love this part of the night. Present time every one picks a name out of a bag in the beginning of December and they have to get a present for whoever they got. We all sit in a circle and open them all at the same time. After this we all got home to bed and wait for Santa to come.

The Christmas day party is usually at my house every one brings a dish of food and my mom makes chicken or turkey. After we all eat we open presents and that’s the best because we get presents from everyone. This year it was funny because we got all the parents to play wii resort a new game I got for Christmas It was really funny to watch because they didn’t know how to play.

My favorite holiday memory had to be when we got the wii my little brother went crazy like the Nintendo 64 kid. I’m looking forward to many more great holidays

I rang in the New Years Eve at home with my family. We ordered bone yard and Eric my little brother, my aunt and her boyfriend and my mom and I sat around the table together and ate. After diner we played scrabble because you know every 14 year old kid wants to play scrabble with their family on New Years Eve. After scrabble my mom my aunt and her boyfriend watched a movie and I watched the last three episodes of glee. When it was time to watch the ball drop my mom got these popper things that blasted confetti all over my living room. My dog got freaked out because of the noise, and then I had to pick it all up joy. On New Years day u stayed home and hung out with more family it wasn’t that fun.

Events that happened in 2009 that I would love to get rid of are my grades in math and not doing my homework in biology. I also want to get rid of all the drama that happened last year that I was apart of. My new year’s resolution is that I want to get on the honor role. I want to get more friends and hang out with them all. This year when I’m trying to do homework ill log off of face book so I can actually concentrate. Another one of my new year’s resolutions is to get a job. I’ve wanted a job since like two years ago because I’m weird like that I also want to get a job. Happy New Year

Ten things i’m thankful for…


1. I am thankful for my family. I love my family and love being able to spend time with them. I always want to be with my family. My family brings a smile to my face every day. Without them I don’t think I could live.

2. I’m thankful that both my parents have jobs. In these rough economic times it would be bad if my parents didn’t have jobs, they wouldn’t be able to support us.

3. I’m thankful that my family is healthy, and the swine flu hasn’t gotten to anyone in my family. I love my family and health is something I want there to be in my family.

4. I’m thankful for music. I love music and without music I wouldn’t be very happy. Music is a way of expressing yourselves so with out it we would probably be very boring.

5. I’m thankful that I have a house. There are people in the world that have nothing so I should be grateful for what I have, and a house is something you should be grateful for.

6. I’m thankful that I have food to eat and drink’s to drink. I am glad that we have food while other people in the world have nothing and we should help those in need.

7. I’m thankful for the education i'm getting. Without education I will not be able to get a job. So many kids aren’t getting the proper education and i’m glad that I am.

8. I’m thankful for electronics. Electronics make the world happy. Without electronics people would never be the same, Electronics are very important to us because without computers and phones we wouldn’t be able to communicate very fast.

9. I’m thankful for my friends. I hope I will stay with my friends forever. I would hate to loose them.

10. I’m thankful for candy because I love candy. Candy makes most kids happy so it’s something to be thankful for.

Old friend’s new friends

• During summer vacation I kept in touch with some friends from last year, but not all of them.
  
• I’ve been at Stevenson for awhile now and I’ve made so many new friends.

• Since I’ve been at Stevenson I wanted to make a lot of new friends so I thought the perfect way to do that is do as much activities as I can.

• The scariest moment I believe so far was when I walked through those doors on the first day of high school. It was only scary for like five minutes then it got better.

• The hardest class assignment I believe was a big packet of geometry homework I had to do.

• Taylor swift you belong with me is the most popular song at the moment. Every one loves Taylor swift she always has the best songs.
• David cook come back to me is a memorable song. He won American Idol, but I wish that David Archuleta would have won but they were both great.

• Twighlight is the best book in the world and it was made into a movie the movie wasn’t as good as the book but I still loved the movie.
  
• The proposal was a very funny movie I loved it so much.

• There are probably 21 rumors passed around the school in just a day.
  
• It’s amazing all the lies you here in the halls but that’s just part of high school don’t believe every thing you hear.

• The number one trend in my school right now is plaid, plaid, plaid, plaid. It seems as plaid had went out of style for a while then just popped right back up when more famous people started to where them.
  
• Skinny jeans, purple skinny jeans, red skinny jeans, green skinny jeans, yellow skinny jeans and any other color you want the kids at school are wearing.
  
  First cultural event
  
• I saw the phantom of the opera for my first cultural event and it was amazing.
  
• I had so much fun my Mom and Aunt and I went to see it together. I wrote a paper on it and got a b+.
  
  Homecoming
  
• I went to the homecoming game it was awesome even though it was raining all night; I got to pull the Global ED float.
  
• The spirit week was fun even though I only dressed up for western Wednesday and spirit day it was still fun.
  
• I didn’t go to the dance but I heard it was fun.
• Advice for a freshman

• Don’t worry about your first day of school so what if you walk into the wrong classroom every one does it once in their high school years.
• Don’t worry about the big bad seniors. There not so big and bad, once you get to hang out with some of them.
  

• Join Global ED because that has to be the coolest thing you can do. Make sure you have fun with everything you do.
